Position – BIM Administrator/Engineer I

Pacific Pros is seeking experienced BIM Admin to be a representative for Los Angeles World Airport (LAWA) supervising the airport facilities.

Region: Los Angeles, CA

Status: Part-Time up to Full-time (20-40 hours/week). This position may offer a hybrid/telework schedule, potentially Telework – Monday and Friday; Onsite – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; however, the possibility of telework will depend on operational needs, approval of LAWA’s supervisor, LAWA’s Pilot Policy, and therefore there will be positions that will not provide the telework schedule.

Representative Responsibilities for this position

The duties for this Job include, Opening and evaluating 3D models in either Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks and ACC, Administration of Autodesk BIM360 Design environment, Administration of ACC project environment, field verification of model objects in the form of attribute data, and general file organization and administration.

  • Maintaining digital library of BIM models on ACC or another platform
  • Implementing new BIM tools, select innovative solutions for automating repetitive tasks or introduce new plug-ins for existing programs
  • Ensuring BIM models remain up to date throughout the course of a project
  • Verifying that exported data from the BIM is accurate and complete
  • Participating in meetings with project teams to ensure everyone understands how to adhere to the BIM process Reviewing and commenting BIM submittals

Software

  • Autodesk Revit, Civil3D, BIM 360 Design, Navisworks, ACC, O365 SharePoint and Microsoft Office products.

Required Qualifications

  • US Employment Authorization without needing sponsorship
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A valid Driver’s License and compliance with PACIFIC’s Vehicle Policy
  • Proficiency with common Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat (PDF files)
  • Pre-employment drug test. Also, subject to drug and alcohol testing during the course of employment in accordance with PACIFIC’s Drug, Alcohol and Illegal Items Policy
  • 3+ References from Clients
  • Familiar with PM/CM functions in construction projects
  • 5+ years of general work experience in the technical field
  • 2+ year of experience working with BIM related processes and workflows

Preferred Qualifications

  • CM-BIM (Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling) is a plus
